Book Favorite Recipes

Question: Can someone tell me how to transfer all my computer of my recipes?I have cook a lot of books and wrote my Favorite Recipes.I have many Old Recipes have been having a lot in the last family.Also recipes.It clippings room.I takes a lot to all of my possible computer.Is to transfer without having to buy any type of program? This my first computer, and I'm still learning.Thank you all the answers in advance.
Answer: I have a picture to "My Documents" with the title of recipes. Then I put the subfolders for each of the major categories such as appetizers & Dips, bread, beef, beans, chicken, casseroles, etc. Use what you want to major categories. Then in this folder, I can have other folders, such as in fish, I a Folder for each fish, lobster, shrimp and oysters. For existing recipes, you can scan in the use of a PDF file. For new recipes that you enter the can use it in Word. I get many of my recipes from the Internet and usually just copy and paste it into a Word document. I actually purchased a program called Recipe Manager and I did not like it at all. I found it very difficult to handle. I like my system much better. Also be sure to get them back in any way, like a flash drive or an external hard drive.
