Apricot and plum bread?
Mother used to these holidays. I may sound gross, but it is delicious. It was my favorite thing at her Christmas made. Sister in law had all her handwritten recipes, and I did not find him, in any of my old cookbooks - including those who go back in the 30s. Thank you!
I would change this recipe to perhaps 1 / 2 cup dried plums and 1 / 2 cup of apricots. Apricot Bread recipe makes 1 loaf Ingredients: 2 cup All-purpose flour 1 cup sugar 1 cup chopped dried apricots 1 / 2 cup chopped walnuts 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 2 eggs (beaten) 1 cup milk 1 / 4 cup vegetable oil a bowl of flour, sugar, apricots, nuts, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk and oil. Add liquid to the dry Ingredients. Only until mixed. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Place in a 350 F oven for 50-60 minutes. Remove to cool for 10 minutes. Remove from the pan. Continue to cool on wire rack.
