I need some real authentic Cuban easy recipes?
I'm in the 10th Class and I have a food class and I need a food or dessert for the class from Cuba. They must be authentic recipes, but i dont want to do something very difficult.
Cuban sandwiches! xD Get some kind of of bread on the harder side that the discs. Obviously no regular / white wheat bread here - choose something similar to French bread. It is a really good type of bread called real Cuban bread, which you can use. It is perfect for this sandwich. You have several types of (hot / cold) Meat. Roast Pork / Ham are a good choice. Do not use chicken or turkey meat. Roast beef is another alternative. Also use some Swiss cheese. They Sandwiches Grill this sandwich, or use a special grill for this: If you are low money http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=12441479 / are on time, just use a grill. You obviously need a little help, if you are not familiar with this, first with the help of a grill., The bread (sliced cut) on the grill, keep on one side with butter - that side, to tilt. Flip when the first page of the "grill marks" has, or a little toasty. Make sure you do not overdo it, or it is really hard. After you have done your slices, get some meat from the deli I mentioned and get them into slices cut while you are there. Place a slice on the meat, followed by a piece of Swiss (cut in the Deli), then a piece of meat, then to a different kind of meat-switch, disc One Down, and then a piece of cheese, then finally a second piece of meat. Top with bell pepper, mayonnaise, and / or Pickles. If these go in the fridge for a while, then put the mayo and pickles under a layer of meat, so it does not make the bread soggy. Place You melt the whole sandwiches back on the grill for a minute on each side of the cheese and make it nice and warm. Be sure not to burn it. You Baby will get to make the sandwiches that they do not burn. When you are done in this class, you can obviously see that a grill is not available be, and you probably can not be a portable one school. In this case, ask if you bring Your Own ingredients, you can have at the beginning (that is, you toast the bread to send, then It over the ham and cheese + seasoning) and then you can heat it on the stove in a fry with a little butter or Olive Oil, or in the microwave. The Microwave it may cost less than perfect, but just use what you have. This sandwich is not nearly as good, if not Melty and hot, so make sure You can find a way.
