It looks good ... but why the portions are always so small?
If I by cooking magazines and if I am lucky enough, on a reference of "Fancy food" I tend to place something - the portions are tiny! The presentation is great. Only trouble is there is not much on the plate. Take a look at order featured in magazines such as Gourmet, etc. The food looks fantastic, but it looks like it would also be gone in about three bites! And this Stuff is not cheap! If I pay $ 100.00 for a meal I do not want to leave hungry. Anybody else notice this and any ideas why this is so? cldchbn know - I just a hint of snobbery in your answer? Are you with Thurston Howell from Gilligan's Iceland by accident?? Ne pas etre suffisant si.
Fair point, but: - 1 Not all restaurants are close to the parts 2nd Many of them you have 3 starter, main course + dessert. Many places have the feeling that the idea is scoffathon to eat, enough to - not with a restaurant to eat as "until in pain. Even with the most restaurants (except that" crap Nouvell kitchen, which has about run its course), I think the portions are enough for most visitors - and many would feel "overfaced" when the dish came out loaded in a heap.
