Yen ta fo (Yen ta foh) recipe

  • Scald fresh noodles in boiling water.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • Using the same water, scald kang kung. Drain and cut into 2 inches long, place together with noodles.
  • In a large pot, boil pork with water and cook over and reduce the heat, simmer for 30 minutes. Remove pork to cool and slice thinly.
  • in the pork broth, scald fish balls and squid.
  • Place together  with pork.
  • Add salt and fish sauce to the broth.
  • Mash the red bean curd and mix with ketchup.

How to serve Yen ta fo (Yen ta foh)?

To serve  Yen ta fo (Yen ta foh), do the followings:

  • Put kang kung in a dish with noodles.
  • Arrange around the noodles with sliced pork, shrimp, squid, shrimp balls, fish balls and sliced bean curd.
  • Spoon ketchup mixture over.
  • Top with fried garlic.
  • Add broth to serve.
