Texas Chili Soup

Ingredients for Texas Chili Soup in a Crockpot

3-5 qt (6-8 servings)

3 cans (16 oz) Red kidney beans, drained
1 envelope (1.25 oz) Chili seasoning
1 can (15 oz) Tomato sauce
1/2 cup Chopped onion
1 1/2 pounds Stew beef, cut in cubes
1 can (14 oz) Beef broth
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder

5½ - 7 qt (12-16 servings)

5 cans (16 oz) Red kidney beans, drained
2 envelopes (1.25 oz) Chili seasoning
2 cans (15 oz) Tomato sauce
1 cup Chopped onion
3 pounds Stew beef, cut in cubes
2 cans (14 oz) Beef broth
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Garlic powder

Cooking Texas Chili Soup in a crockpot or slow cooker

Combine all ingredients in the crockpot. Stir well. Cover and cook using:

  • the low setting for 10 hours, or
  • the high setting for 5 hours
