Ingredients for Manhattan Clam Chowder in a Crockpot

3-5 qt (6-8 servings)

1 bottle (32 oz) Tomato juice
1 can (6 oz) Tomato paste
3 cans Chopped clams with liquid
1 bag Frozen mixed vegetables for soup or stew
1 can Sliced potatoes, drained
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasonings

5½ - 7 qt (12-16 servings)

1 bottle (32 oz) Tomato juice
1 can (6 oz) Tomato paste
6 cans Chopped clams with liquid
2 bag Frozen mixed vegetables for soup or stew
2 cans Sliced potatoes, drained
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasonings

Cooking Manhattan Clam Chowder in a crockpot or slow cooker

Combine all ingredients in the crockpot. Stir well. Cover and cook using:

  • the low setting for 6 hours, or
  • the high setting for 3 hours
