Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken

Below is the recipe to make Hawaiian crockpot chicken. The ingredients below will allow you to make either 3-5 qt or 5½ - 7 qt of Hawaiian crockpot chicken.

Ingredients for Hawaiian crockpot chicken

3-5 qt (6-8 servings)

3 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, halved
1 can (16 oz) pineapple slices, drained
1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground ginger

5½ - 7 qt (12-16 servings)

6 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, halved
2 can (16 oz) pineapple slices, drained
2 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
4 tablespoons cornstarch
4 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
4 tablespoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground ginger

Cooking Hawaiian chicken in a crockpot or slow cooker

Combine all ingredients in the crockpot. Stir well. Cover and cook using:

  • the low setting for 6-8 hours, or
  • the high setting for 3 hours
